Gear oil pumps are widely used in lubricating systems or hydraulic transmission systems in thin oil stations.
1. Regular oil change method. This method is based on different equipment, different working conditions and different oil products, and the hydraulic oil is stipulated to be used for half a year, one year, or after 1000-2000 working hours to replace the hydraulic oil. Although this method is widely used in practical work, it is not scientific. It will cause the gear pump to fail to protect the hydraulic system well, to detect abnormal contamination of hydraulic oil in time, and to use hydraulic oil resources rationally.
2. On-site identification and oil change. This method is to put the identified hydraulic oil into a transparent glass container and compare it with the new oil for visual inspection, judge the degree of pollution by intuition, or use pH test paper to conduct nitric acid etching test on site to identify the identified concentrated hydraulic oil. Does the oil need to be replaced.
3. Comprehensive analysis of oil change. This method is to regularly sample and test to determine the necessary physical and chemical properties, so as to continuously monitor the deterioration of the hydraulic oil, and decide when to change the oil according to the actual situation. This method has scientific basis, high reliability, and conforms to the principle of oil change. However, the implementation of this method often requires certain equipment and laboratory instruments, and the operation technology is relatively complicated. There will be a slight lag in the test results, and the results need to be submitted to the oil company for testing. This method has begun to be widely used in the world. In actual work, if only one index of the hydraulic oil exceeds the specified value, you can continue to use it while observing the situation. If any of the three indicators has exceeded the specified value, the hydraulic oil should be replaced immediately.
