Operation and Maintenance
Vertical gear pumps are often installed in ships and oil stations. When it is used in thin oil stations, extra attention should be paid. Thin oil is gasoline, diesel, light oil, flammable and explosive places, first of all, pay attention to reliability, and also pay attention to the selection, the following is the experience of Zcer lubrication equipment to share the application of vertical gear pumps in thin oil stations Matters needing attention:
1. Pay attention to the flow rate and outlet pressure when selecting the type, and leave a margin. Thin oil has low viscosity. When transported by a vertical gear pump, there will be internal leakage, and the flow will lose about 20%. Therefore, the flow rate when selecting the type should be greater than the user's demand flow, and the same is true for the pressure.
2. Prepare wearing parts. Due to the low viscosity of the thin oil, after a period of continuous use of the vertical gear pump, gears, bearing sleeves, and composite sleeves may be worn out, so prepare such vulnerable parts, and consider replacing spare parts when there is a serious loss of flow and pressure .
3. The inlet pipeline should be set as simple as possible. The pipeline of the thin oil station is relatively complicated. The resistance of the inlet pipeline of the vertical gear pump should be as small as possible, and the number of elbows should be less. Otherwise, the pump flow rate will decrease or the oil will not be supplied.
The electrical selection is flameproof. Open flames or sparks are prohibited at the thin oil station, and the vertical gear pump is equipped with a flameproof and energy-saving motor. The gears of the pump's flow-passing parts are made of copper gears.
