Working Theory


Thin oil station is generally divided into two systems, low-pressure oil supply system and high-pressure oil supply system. It is mainly composed of two low-pressure gear pumps, two high-pressure plunger pumps, double-tube mesh filters, oil coolers, oil tanks, valves and some oil supply pipelines, plus electrical control cabinets. The power of high and low pressure pumps is generally 2.2KW, but this is not fixed, and can be configured according to the working conditions of the main engine. The working pressure of the low-pressure oil supply system is 0.4 Mpa, and the pressure of the high-pressure oil supply system is 31.5Mpa. The pressure can be adjusted by adjusting the valve. When the main engine is started, at low speed or stopped, the high-pressure system is used to form a layer of static pressure oil film, and the running time is not until the main engine runs with a dynamic pressure oil film, the high-pressure pump stops supplying oil, and the low-pressure pump continues to supply oil to ensure The host needs to run lubricated.

The working principle of the thin oil station is basically the same: the oil is sucked out from the oil tank by the gear pump, and is sent directly to the lubrication point of the equipment through the one-way valve, the double-tube mesh filter, and the heat exchanger. Each thin oil station is equipped with 2 oil pumps, one working and one standby. The output oil pressure of the oil pump in the thin oil station is 0.4MPa, and the flow rate is 2.5L/h. Lubricating oil process: working oil pump-one-way valve-filter-condenser (use in summer)-pressure relay-main equipment lubricating point-return oil tank-oil pump. Let's talk about several factors that affect the normal operation of thin oil stations:

The low pressure and high pressure are 0.4Mpa, and the low pressure is 0.12Mpa. When the pressure P<0.12Mpa, the standby pump will automatically start working; when the oil supply pressure reaches 0.4Mpa, the standby pump will automatically stop working. If the pressure is still lower than 0.12Mpa after the standby pump is started, the main engine will send out a shutdown alarm signal, which is one of the major fault signals and will cause the main engine to trip and stop. This is the case of low pressure, if the pressure is too high, when P>0.45Mpa, it will also alarm, but the host will not stop at this time. When the thin oil station is just opened, when the low-pressure oil supply pressure is greater than 0.25MPa, start the high-pressure pump. Ten minutes after the high-pressure pump starts, when the high-pressure outlet oil pressure reaches 6MPa, the pressure controller controls the main engine to start. When the pressure reaches 14MPa When the operating speed of the main engine reaches the normal operating speed, the high-pressure pump can be stopped, and the low-pressure oil supply will continue to work, and the lubricating oil will be delivered to each lubrication point. Another pressure factor is the pressure difference of the filter. When the pressure difference of the filter is ≥ 0.1MPa, the alarm bell will sound but the main engine will not stop. It is necessary to manually switch the valve to replace the working cylinder.
